I took this photo last year after the huge storm at the end of June and Bridge Street had flooded.I had never seen anything as bad as this in Blyth before and I dearly hope that nothing like that happens again. This image reminds me of the style of Eugene Atget and his documentation of the architecture in Paris. He used reflections in his images.
I've created this blog to try and document Blyth and the people from the markets. I will be updating as and when I get the images that I want to share. Please feel free to leave any comments. I will also be posting photographs of Blyth over the coming months.

Frameworks Art Cafe
Thanks to Angela in Frameworks for stocking my photography in the shop. It's one of those places that has so many wonderful things to look at upstairs and down. There's a purple glass Art Deco side table in there which is just the most beautiful piece of furniture I have ever seen. Go and have a look, the quality is second to none. From unique greetings cards to items for the home.
