Well I popped down to the market before college to get some photos of the stall holders setting up. Met some lovely people and the market inspector is very helpful so a big thankyou to Pat Walsh.
They need a gold medal in this weather,it started to snow again while I was there.
Got to college and a power cut had affected the whole building so we had to come home.
More photos to do next week.
I've created this blog to try and document Blyth and the people from the markets. I will be updating as and when I get the images that I want to share. Please feel free to leave any comments. I will also be posting photographs of Blyth over the coming months.

Hi folks,i'm currently in the process of gathering information about Blyth Market and a little bit about its history.
Any market traders out there who have ever been a stall holder at the market ? It would be great to hear your stories and experiences of trading at Blyth.
Looking at this old photograph I would swear that the lady in the bottom right hand corner is my nana !
It's interesting to note how full the market looks back then compared with today.
